Neighborhood Networking is a unique way of seeing Chicago and meeting the local small businesses in a fun, relaxed business networking event.
This Neighborhood Networking event organized by Mercury Organizing Professionals and Lidia Varesco Design was another great success! On June 24th, NN’s joint networking effort with BBR was held at Cuatro Restaurant in the South Loop area. Even though, there was threat of rain, many folks came out and ventured out of their area to make new connections. The food was fantastic. Vegetarian ceviche and a variety of empanandas were served, thanks to Sara Navarro at Cuatro who went above and beyond to help us make this event the success that it was. Cynthia Slade of The Shalli Company brought the very coveted raffle prize from Microsoft; the small business software. Other prizes donated include Urban Family Chiropractic, Cuatro Restaurant, Nicole’s Crackers, Melalucca, West Loop Athletic Club, Tom and Wendees Italian Ice.
And last but not least, the featured exhibitor was a not-for-profit named “The Eve Project” ; directed by Alysia Lubbers. A board member of the program; Heidi Curran brought information and material to explain how the program works and how one can donate.
It was great to see familiar faces at the event and especially wonderful to hear how people are choosing to comeback to this event because they find it either; effective or just simply fun. We are happy to hear that new people are attending the event because friends of friends or colleagues are passing the word along. Thanks to all those who participated. See you at the next NN event.
Note: Please remember to send us your testimonial of your experience at Neighborhood Networking.
